Pupils from Linwood High School recently spent the day in the wilds of Muirshiel Country Park, developing their survival skills, building tarp shelters and learning how to make tea using a Kelly Kettle.
They learned about land-use issues and woodland management and planted young native aspen saplings to improve the biodiversity of the conifer plantation.
Despite the torrential rain, the kids seemed to enjoy getting their hands dirty and do something practical in the great outdoors.
This sessions was delivered by Eadha Enterprises as part of the Accenture Schools Project.
