Howford Christmas Tree Adventure

10 December 2014

Eadha have provided Howford Primary School in Glasgow with a fine looking Christmas tree this year, and in the process, provided a valuable outdoor experience for two P7 boys.  The budding lumberjacks selected the tree themselves, an unusual specimen with 3 main leader stems (perhaps representing the 3 wise men or the holy trinity?), before helping to fell it.  Yells of timber were to be heard echoing around the forest! The tree was weeded from a site which is being converted to native woodland in the Renfrewshire Hills.

“Perhaps a bit on the big side….?”

Showing the tree off with pride!
