Forestry Commission Volunteers get battered at Wardlaw

5 May 2015

A big thanks goes to volunteers from Glasgow coordinated through the Forestry Commission’s Sadia Ismail who helped with tree planting at Wardlaw Community Woodland today. This group included a team from the charity Human Appeal. Despite driving rain and wind, (and some mobility issues!) the guys worked tirelessly with high spirits. None of the group had had any previous experience tree planting but hopefully today hasn’t put them off for life! Well done!
