Eadha is collaborating with a crofter in East Sutherland located near Rogart to develop an aspen agroforestry scheme.  A total of 200 aspen trees have been planted at a density of 400/Ha.  Eadha has supplied 10 clones from Galloway and Arran provenance to test how they perform in the North of Scotland.  They have been laid out in a replicated trial with design input from Richard Ennos at the University Of Edinburgh, to whom we are grateful.
