Community Consultation

One of Eadha Enterprises main objectives is promote the development of new community woodlands across Scotland.  To his end we have had experience undertaking various community engagement activities for a number of projects, in particular with respect to promoting the potential benefit of community woodland and empowering communities to consider the develop grassroots community woodland groups and the creation of new woodlands.

We have experience delivering the following:

Examples

Eadha was subcontracted by Tilhill Forestry to carryout a survey of public use of existing woodlands and to gauge potential interest in establishment of a community woodland as part of the Halkshill and Blairpark Woodland Project. Eadha contributed to a public drop-in event in Largs (May 2014) and provided questionnaires and a serious of maps and plans for the public to annotate.

Event: Launch of Linwood Development Plan by Linwood Community Development Trust. Eadha had a stall at the public drop-in to canvass opinion on the creation of new community woodlands in the area. (Feb 2013).
